An ice shove caused damage to a house in Oshkosh.It happened Tuesday night and Wednesday morning on Lake Rest Lane on Lake Winnebago.Residents told WISN 12 a “small but potent” ice shove came ashore the private road.Three houses at the end of the road were affected by the shove.It piled ice as high as 10 feet and moved at least 10 feet onshore. The worst of the damage occurred at a home where the ice travelled 10 feet into the building, destroying everything in its path. Doug Raflik of KFIZ News-Talk 1450AM shared photos of the ice shove and its destruction with WISN 12.

OSHKOSH, Wis. —

An ice shove caused damage to a house in Oshkosh.

It happened Tuesday night and Wednesday morning on Lake Rest Lane on Lake Winnebago.

Residents told WISN 12 a “small but potent” ice shove came ashore the private road.

Three houses at the end of the road were affected by the shove.

It piled ice as high as 10 feet and moved at least 10 feet onshore.

The worst of the damage occurred at a home where the ice travelled 10 feet into the building, destroying everything in its path.
