HARLEM, Manhattan (WABC) — Two people are being questioned, after shots were fired at an off-duty police officer in Harlem after getting into a minor accident on the way to work.

As that SUV continued westbound, shots were fired from it in the direction of the off-duty officer.

The officer, who has just 16 months on the job working in Manhattan North, was not struck.

Police launched a search for the SUV, which was tracked through technology into Queens.

It was eventually spotted and stopped at Blake and Van Sinderen avenues in East New York, Brooklyn.
